Looking to buy a citroen saxo but l dont understand the differences between a VTR and a VTS

I'd say they are both tinny pieces of French front-wheel-drive crud, with the lifespan of a loaf of bread.

The VTS is the top of the line with all the added extras. The VTR has a few less. (Theres also a VTR+ l think.)

THE R AND THE S

The VTR has a 90bhp 1.6 engine (100bhp from 1999).
The VTS uses a 120bhp 1.6 16v unit.
The VTS has ABS as standard, it is an option on the VTR.
The VTS has an oil temperature gauge, electric heated mirrors, retractable rather than fixed rear head rests.
The VTR has 14'' alloys as standard, the VTS has 15''.

The saxo VTR is a 1.6 with 8 valves with an insurance group of 7 and a VTS is a 1.6 with 16 valves but be aware that this model is a group 14!!

First difference they will be a bigger jump up on your insurance for the vts and difference being the vts is a 16v were as the vtr is a 8v and easier to work on the engine. hope this as helped.
