l have just bought a brand new citroen c3 - ive had it for about 2 months now and this morning on the way to work l was in 2nd gear and it wouldnt let me put in 3rd gear ?! Does this mean l am too rough with changing gears? l havnt had this prob before.. just this morning very randomly on 3rd gear. all other gears were fine.
However when l put it into neutral, it was sitting off- not straight.
l pulled over, tried to loosen the gear stick and then it drove fine again with me driving the car extra careful..
should l get it checked out? Could be dangerous driving when l cant get into 3rd gear...

If you just bought it then get it checked out. (use your warranty as much as possible).
If you are hesitant about driving it on the way to get it checked out, l suggest you rev it high enough and change from 2nd to 4th (4-5000 rpm). DO NOT DO THIS OVER A LONG PERIOD OF TIME AS IT CAN SCREW UP YOUR ENGINE! Generally l would advise against it but what else is there to do?

for a new car this is extremely unusual..
