I've heard a lot of bad commentaries about the Sensodrive Gearbox. A lot of people complain on shifting with paddles and the gearbox has some slips and some trouble. I've never had a Citroen before all l know is that parts are somewhat hard to get.

its looks just as good at the 1.6 but you will be saving on the petrol and insurance.go for it, it will be fun and no one really needs to know its a 1.4 as long as you dont show the engine or v5 to anyone.

in reliability l had a saxo westcoast which looked exactly like a vts but it started to cut out when l was slowing down or approaching a junction.i was told it was a map sensor.just make sure the one your getting doesnt do the same thing!!

babe you cant get a vtr thats a 1.4 if its got the vtr bodykit on its a 1.4 westcoast or 1.4 forte - easy give away signs is the multi coloured interior especially the seat belts. id steer clear of a westcoast and forte cos they're utter crap to drive - slow and arsey. wait for the vtr or even better the vts then whack a turbo conversion on it! if you really REALLY want a saxo have a look on saxperience.co.uk as they have lots of nice saxos being sold on there everyday.

reasonable fun, very popular with modders. second/third hand cars can be trashed badly. ''reliable citroen'' is an oxymoron, these words just do not go together
