hi. my break lights seem to stop working. ive checked the bulbs and fuses maybe its the switch? does any one know where the break switch is on a citroen c5?

not sure on that car but on most cars its located on the break pedal arm
check also if theres a rubber button missing that pushes the pin in on the switch. that happened to my maxima the button was missing the pin had nothing to rest against.

Try the obvious, the activator switch will as always be on the pedal,this will have some adjustment in the mounting & should have a threaded contact adjustment of some description to allow fine tuning.just have a fiddle with placement to see if it will work.If not remove the wires From the switch & touch them together,if the lights then work the switch is u/s.If it still does not work u have a Friday afternoon car & its time for an auto electrician or back to supplier depending on age.
