My ZX 1.9D (XUD engine) has developed a nasty habit of cutting out on me. This usually happens when the fuel level is fairly low, but nowhere near empty. I've changed the fuel filter and checked for air leaks, split pipes etc. Any ideas?

Air leaks in fuel line are not always easy to find as fuel is sucked from tank by pump on the engine.Check primer pump and lines between front floor and back of engine, which may have been stretched when cam belt was changed .Good luck!!
