my saxo sometimes fires straight away others it spends ages making that noise eerhh eerhh of the cylinders rotating but wont fire
its got a new battery
is it more likely to do with spark plugs?
will taking the spark plugs out n cleaning them make a difference as l think they are fairly new or will l have to replace them.
where are the spark plugs in a saxo?

Could be a lot of things
1st Check to see if you have a spark. (spark plugs are under coil pack at back of rocker cover ) or follow the HT leads if older car

or it could be crankshaft sensor faulty
immobilser problem
or fuel pump /. relay problem

take the saprk plugs out and fire the engine to see if its sparking

if not, replace em, and if it still aint startin, get ur engine looked at

l had the same problem with my saxo vtr the only reason its doing that is because it is not firing on cylinders so change the spark plugs and put engine flush through it

Get the ignition system checked over.Plug gap,ignition timing,and fuel mixture settings.Does it have a manual choke or automatic?Could be any manner of things,but these are the basics to start with.
