There r quite a few salvage yards advertising 2 litre HDIs on ebay so have a look at them & l am sure at least one will be able to help.

There is no 16v 2000cc HDi engine for that model year.. the only HDi engines in the Synergie for this country are-

2.0 HDi 8 valve (DW10) RHY or RHZ will be in the vin no.

2.2 HDi 16 valve (DW12) 4HX will be in the vin no.

l think there is also a 2.2 8 valve (DW10) engine as well, not sure if this was fitted to the Synergie though, just the C8.

There is a 16 valve 2.0 HDi engine available but it is only fitted to current models (C4 & C5).

Whichever one u have there r many French car breakers dotted all over the country. Also check these models as they may also use whichever engine u have-

Citroen C5, Dispatch, late model Xantia, C8, Xsara, Xsara Picasso, Relay, Berlingo, various Peugeot models & also Fiat Ulysee & Ducato.

your best bet is to trawl the scrap yards there is 1 on ebay at the mo but a front end smash so would not trust the engine
