The car does this when started fresh in the mornings only and then once restarted it is OK. The car actually trys to change gears too fast, say its in 3rd by 30KM/Hr and tries to put in 4th it then cant cope so it reduces the revs and pushes it back but with a sollid jerk, does this for 3-4 times and then either corrects itself or slows down in standby mode. l then have to pull over and restart it again, the problem is gone. Any idea about this problem please do help. Its been happening for the past 2 months and the dealer doesent have a clue about it.

Well l have tried doing the warm up at times and it has still given the jerks. Normally its not advised to do stand still warm ups in new cars as it just wastes Petrol.

you will need to get the car is diagnostic system checked for error codes, the only thing is that most garages will charge you for this.
