It will drink petrol, and cash because you will constantly getting the piece of French junk fixed!!!

Should not do. Although it is got a 1.6 engine, it is a very light car, and I'd expect about 30-35mpg in normal town driving, maybe up to 40-ish on a long run. If you've tricked it up with sports induction kits and exhausts and drive it like a chav then you might get it down into the low 20s, but otherwise no.

l am with Evelyn on this, it is a biggish engine in a light car and driven sensibly should be quite economical.
