Sometimes l get in my citroen saxo 1997 and it wo not start, usually it is fine but sometimes it just makes a noise as if the battery is drained even although l know this is not the case.
l can jump start it though.
l have a feeling it might be the immobiliser but if anyone has any ideas that would be great! thanks

Sounds like it might be your starter or altenator.

If it jump starts ok the it isnt an immobiliser problem?Could be a lazy starter motor,or bad battery/ starter motor connections?Give them all a good clean and tighten.Hope this helps

becuase its french and it hates you

battery cables may be lose or the battery is ruined or the thing that charges it up again

l had a similar thing with my renault Megan and found that the battery connectors were not very good so l bought some better quality ones and had no more trouble. If its really cold you may need to press the gas pedal before you start it.
