no obvious ones like take it to a garage, thanks.
if l have to bite the bullet how and go to a garage how much will l expect to pay, to tighten it and if a new one is needed how much for that plus fitting.

l would imagine slacken the bolts off the alternator mounting fxings & lever the belt tighter by pulling the alternator & retighten
l would check condition of belt first as it maybe worn / fraid
Dont know if its a V belt or multirib drive
Winter is the squeeler time for belts & alternators as all the load is on the battery trying to replace the stored power working our lights heaters & demistors
Should be a easy job, unless u have air con bolted around it
