Okay i've got a 54 reg Citroen C2 1.1 and it is only a base model cause it is my first car. It does not have electric windows, mirrors or AC - is there any way of getting any of them ? I am assuming the electrics are not really possible but there is no harm in asking :)

Also if you do not like C2s l really do not care, i'm not asking for insults about my car so please do not give me any !

Yes you can get all that, but the cost and amount of work will discourage most people.

Unless u have a mechanic in the family, forget it, the cost would be prohibitive! A dealer will only fit new parts & u have to be realistic, a 4 year old C2 is not worth much. Further, when u re-sold the vehicle the modifications would not make much difference to the price.

It really is not much hassle adjusting mirrors & windows by hand - we all did that until a few years back! Air con? Well, it is nice to have but again, until a few years back it was the province of high priced luxury cars only.

Sure u can. Vintage Air makes AC kits that can be installed in any car. The hot rod aftermarket has many electric window kits. Or u could find a C2 in a junkyard & buy the Citroen parts. If u r mechanically inclined & have tools, u could do it yourself. Or u could find a technical school that teaches auto mechanics - talk to the instructor & see if they will provide the labor for free. Often they will.

What does a C2 look like, anyway? Citroens r sort of ''different l think - we rarely see them in Alabama. Being different makes them cool!
