l have a 51 reg citroen c5 and last night l was driving on the motorway and noticed the headlight`s kept flickering bright , l have never noticed this before , but it explains why l had a few near misses as cars kept pulling out on me as they thought l was flashing them !!!!

Well it could be a number of things, l would start by checking for any broken or loose wires, also look for damaged bulbs, it could be a bad ground too, also check for loose fuses that can be your problem( easy to fix too!) well l hope l was some help, electrical problems can be a real pain to find sometimes its easier to have it looked at by a pro. There is a problem on the C5 with the light`s & the dealership`s r aware of it but have done nothing about it , When l approached them about it they said it was a '' characteristic '' of the citroen C5 ! l have used 3 different C5`s over the last 5 years & they all had the same problem with the light`s flicking , l have only just recently spoken to watchdog uk about this same subject & they r investigating so watch this space !!!!
l have a friend who is an auto electrition & he has told citroen that the problem is with a circuit inside the light relay & is easily rectified ,( But if u change this relay yourself it will void ur warranty ) but still they have done nothing about it . There is nothing wrong with any of ur bulb`s or wiring it is the car itself
