Seriously, good on gas, semi-cheap on insurance, fun to drive, expensive on parts & labour (only made in France so where do u think parts have to come from??)

If u live in continental N.A. then seriously think about getting something that does not cost u an arm & a leg to fix. l recommend a Honda, or a Volkswagen, or a Toyota, or even something American. But do not get a car that was manufactured outside of the country. You will get hammered just trying to keep it going!

l saw the show Top Gear and they were comparing Citroen c6 Vs. BMW and the Citroen had so much better ride than the BMW.

They r great cars but if u live in the US, forget it. Someone mentioned the problem of getting the parts from France & that is right. What he forgot to mention is the problem of finding someone to work on it who would not destroy it. The pricier ones have adjustable ride height & all wheel steering for example.

They r some here but they r older models from when cars where easier to work on because not as high tech. l see SMs (that one had a Maserati engine & was a hell of a car. Got a chance to drive one in Germany, it did not take us long to get thru the country) & 2CVs. If u r interested in one of those old ones make sure there is someone who works on them in ur area.

We had a hell of a time with our Mercedes Benz when we lived in the boonies. Our mechanic took over an hour to figure out how to remove the brake pads..Exotic is not always the best choice.

Excellent one. One of the most innovative early constructor. They had some tough times but now they are back with great design, excellent roadhandling and good reliability.
