If your younger than 50 then you've got the wrong car.

my advice is don't! They are like a tin can inside and have no style about the interior. l hate citroen with a passion especially Citroen Saxo!!

wow looks like everyone in the world hates this car, well except me. l don;t think this is the best in the world but its just a car, if you can enjoy the car go for it. dont just hang back wondering what others think.

Ive driven these as hire cars for work - they are fairly comfortable to drive with decent engines, BUT the dash mounted gearlever is horrible - like stirring porridge - and the 'A' post dangerously restricts vision eg seeing traffic coming from the right at roundabouts - my personal view - wouldnt buy one with my own money !

l have one & it is a great family car. Loads of storage, not particularly fast, but comfortable. l actually like the dash mounted gearstick. if it was floor mounted, it would be like changing gears in a transit.

You can take the rear 3 (1, 2 or all 3) seats out & u can get an amazing amount of stuff in there.

not the best car in the world, but it does have a market & u r looking for a decent family car, l would say - go for it.

l also do not think maintenance is that expensive, especially if u stay away from dealers. l had to replace 1 side front suspension on a Fiat Punto = £100, both sides on the Picasso = £120, same garage.

citroen should be spelt with ''SH'' instead of ''C''.the push me pull me car? that looks like its going backwards.check the service manual & see if any ''service''.. changes the spark plugs?.also citroen charge for every moment of their time! so if u ask them to check the tracking?.and they say its OK!.prepare to be charged .9 of an hour.which when l worked in their service department (1988) was £39+VAT!!!for doing nothing.buy japanese instead they & their after service is much better..Honda is my favorite.

They maybe the best seller in their class at the moment but it is a Citroen and a car is a car that will breakdown ever so often.
My advice if you want a car in this sector of the market then at one end of the scale you should look at the latest Vauxhall Zafira and then go to the other end and look at the Toyota Corolla Verso. l would also suggest that you take alot of test drives before putting pen to paper.
