Does anyone know the mpg for a 1992 Citroen AX 1.4D

l had an Ax 1.1 petrol and l would get about 250-300 miles with about 15 litres of petrol ,not sure what that is in gallons , sorry.They are a very lightweight car ,so running them about is not so expensive.

This car was my first car. l dont know how many MPG it does but Out of a full tank l could get just short of 400 miles out of it. Just keep your revs below 3000 and you get a lot more miles out of it. !!

About 650 mpg but would take you a day to do a mile!!!

This is a dificult one to answer as the history of the car is unknown.

l would hazard a guess at between 39mpg-50mpg. l say this as the tank is probably full of deposits which deteriote the fuel, the pump is probably still the original, so near knackered & depends where & how u drive. l would invest in Redex for Diesels, flush the system through, use higher grade (although more expensive) diesel, & avoid supermarket fuels.

Ensure u drive at high speed (50mph plus) for at least 30 mins a week to clear system, & at least once a week rev the engine hard to clear soot from the cylinder head, this will ensure a better performance, & regular Redex treatment will see u get about 60mpg or more.
