Over the past twenty years, l cannot help but marvel the ability of the French to be able to produce such a consistently ugly car. Anyone agree?

First, which Citroen are you referring to? The 2CV, DS, SM, XM, etc.?
As for sheer ugliness, a few other cars come to my mind before any of Citroen's: AMC Pacer, Scion Xb, Honda Element, 90 is Ford F-150 (when they went to the car-like nose), Pontiac Aztec, Isuzu Vehicross, Lamborghini Jarama, and any Subaru that is keeping me from doing the speed limit in the left lane of I-70.

Pontiac makes the ugliest cars in the world.
