No l drove one when l was in Bahrain & it was a fun cheap to run & easy to fix set of wheels. However l am back in the states now & it would not last ten minutes on a American road. The car is way to slow & would not be allowed on a US highway the minimum is 45 MPH that is the top speed of a 2CV. l also live in hill country so l would be pushing that poor car probably beyond it is limits. l also noticed the heater left a lot to be desired in that car. A necessity in Vermont. l also love my automatic transmission something l never found in a 2CV.

no way bugati, veyron damn expensive at £1mil but for 1001 bhp in a car that ways less than a ton. and it do not look half bad

Who would consider a 1940 is technology 2 cylinder car with no amenities at all the best car? It is not the worst, but it is far from the best. The car has a great history of being simple to work on and durable in places where most cars could die.

They're certainly fun!! A 2CV is the only car I've ever managed to get the speedo needle all the way round the dial back to the 0mph pin. My mate was doing 85 to keep up. (Obviously, it was a very long, steep hill!) You can stick Honda Fireblade engines in 'em too, apparantly.

They are not even the best cars on a run down council estate. Try a C reg Larda, it will definitely have less problems
