timing belts are normaly replaced at around 60k mark, but if you've just got the car and its done more than 60k, take alook at it just to make sure its been done.

60K???

30K tops!

Timing belts are throw-aways.
You can have it changed for the cost of a night on the town. So what you waiting for?

Just change it,the damage it does if it breaks can be worth more then the car.

Depends on the age of ur car & which service schedule it is on-

For cars on 9000 mile intervals it should be changed at 72000m or 8 years.

For cars on 10000 intervals it should be changed at 80000m or 8 years.

For cars on 12500 mile intervals it should be changed at 75000m or 6 years.

These r the Citroen guidelines, however l would personally change it sooner, about 50000m is safe & it will save u a lot in the long run if the belt snaps.

Every 60000km do not forget to change the bearings and the water pump too.
